JCR Impact Factor

Thomson Reuters agrees on the following statements:

"The Journal of Microwave Power and Electromagnetic Energy, JMPEE (www.jmpee.org), is the quarterly, peer-reviewed, technical journal of the International Microwave Power Institute, IMPI (www.impi.org), focusing on the industrial, scientific, medical, and instrumentation interest areas of the profession. This journal is issued online quarterly and available in print, by volume, at the end of each year".

JMPEE's annual archival print version is identical to the online version, following  the same same pagination scheme. Since Thomson Reuters calculate an Impact Factor for a journal and collect citations to each individual articles of each journals, accurate citation information is very important to them. Currently if an article appears online in Vol. A No. B page (c-d), this same article is marked as Vol. A No. B page (c-d) as well when it appears in the print version. So when audiences cite this article, no matter from online or print version, the citation information would be the same.

JCR (Thomson Reuters) Impact Factor is not currently available; JMPEE is currently under review for coverage in Thomson Reuters (ISI) Web of Science and the time for getting back to the JCR list has not been specified.

An available Impact Factor of JMPEE can be found at SCImago Journal & Country Rank, which is a portal that includes the journals and country scientific indicators developed from the information contained in the Scopus® database (Elsevier B.V.). SCI Impact Factor is calculated using exactly the same formula than JCR Thomson Reuters.
